God Consciousness Is the Fulfillment of All of Creation
Maharishi’s teaching on God Consciousness is very beautiful and very moving.
God Consciousness develops from Enlightenment.
Enlightenment is holding two states of consciousness simultaneously:
Consciousness of Self alongside consciousness of the relative field.
Being established in your Self is gained, in time, with a Meditation Practice that transcends the relative field;
That uncovers Self;
That gains Union with Universal God.
When established in one’s Self, Union with Universal God is permanent.
Then a need grows to know Who the Creator is;
To know Who created this magnificent world of the infinities of Universes with all the different planes of existence that make up the relative field.
The Personal God draws the devotee to Themself;
And devotion grows in the heart of the devotee.
Your Personal God might be Christ, or Buddha, or Krishna, or Maharishi or any other fully realized Person.
The Personal God Who is the Supreme Being of all of the created world, begins to draw the devotee.
Through the practice of devotion, the devotee’s heart is cultured in love that overflows.
The perceptions of the devotee become very refined;
Become perceptions of the faintest Celestial impulses of Creation;
The faintest Celestial impulses that are the perceptions of the Personal God made manifest here in the world.
The first cognition of God is of Divine Being, of Universal God.
Then the relationship with God develops on the level of feeling with the culturing of the devotee’s heart in love;
Then it develops on the level of thinking;
And finally on the level of sensory perceptions.
God Consciousness is Consciousness of Being alongside consciousness of the Celestial relative, where all perceptions are of one’s Personal God.
It is living God here in the world.
As God Consciousness continues to develop, the devotion of the devotee dissolves in the complete Union with the Personal God.
All beings are seen in the Self;
And then the Self is seen in God.
The Consciousness of Self alongside the consciousness of Celestial relative dissolves into one Consciousness alone:
The Consciousness of God.
