There Are So Many Reasons to Develop the Meditation Practice That Transcends
There are many different ways to practice Meditation.
Most of them will bring you some kind of stress relief.
Stress relief is more powerful than it might seem on the surface value.
Repeated stressful feelings that affect stress levels in your physiology, actually affect the expression of your genes.
Often this can lead to disease.
So it is very important to get some kind of stress relief in your life.
Meditation can serve that purpose.
But most of the reasons that you want to develop a Meditation Practice that transcends are more important and interesting than stress relief.
What does a Meditation Practice that transcends really mean?
We are familiar with the created world that we live in:
With this Universe, our solar system, and our planet Earth.
We are all familiar with this part of the relative field of Creation.
We experience our planet Earth and all that happens in our lives, with three different States of Consciousness:
Waking, dreaming and sleeping;
These are the States of Consciousness of the relative field.
But when you practice Meditation that transcends,
You transcend the relative field of Creation.
You transcend your mind.
You go beyond your mind, beyond the relative field.
Then the experience is no longer of the consciousness of the relative field.
The consciousness is no longer waking, dreaming or sleeping.
When the relative field is transcended,
The experience is the Transcendent.
That is the fourth State of Consciousness;
Pure Consciousness.
It is your Self.
It is Atma, the Sanskrit word for Self.
That Transcendent is an Absolute Field That never changes.
It is unbounded, unmanifest and eternal.
It is without attributes.
But in order to talk about it, we must give it some attributes to help you understand what it is.
It is a Field of Silence;
An Ocean of Bliss Consciousness;
Divine Being.
These attributes give you a feeling for what the Transcendent is.
And That Transcendent is your Self.
When you have a Meditation Practice where you transcend regularly and repeatedly,
You bring wonderful things to your life.
There is more harmony and peacefulness,
Greater calmness.
But there is also more dynamism, more intelligence, more creativity.
These qualities in your life are all enhanced with a Meditation Practice that transcends.
When you transcend the relative field, you experience your Self, Atma.
How you define yourself here in the world is really very limited.
You might define yourself by your name, your family, your school, or the work you do.
This definition of self is so small relative to your Self.
But when you transcend the relative field in your Meditation Practice, and experience your Self;
Your Self That is the Transcendent;
That is Divine Being;
Your small self expands to the big Self.
This is evolution.
In time with repeated and regular transcending in your Meditation Practice,
Your mind and your physiology are so transformed by the experience of the Self,
That they rise to That very status of the unbounded Self;
To That status of Divine Being.
Now your experience of the relative field is holding two States of Consciousness simultaneously:
The Consciousness of Self and the relative consciousness of waking , dreaming or sleeping.
Now the Consciousness of Self is permanent.
You are established in your Self.
No experience in the world can shake that establishment.
This is the first stage of Enlightenment.
You know your Self as completely separate from all the activity here in the world.
These are the most important and fundamental reasons to practice the Meditation that transcends:
To gain the experience of your Self;
To become established in your Self;
Then you live the experience of Divine Being here in the world;
You live Universal God in your life.
Develop your Meditation Practice that transcends;
Expand your small self to your great Self.
Live God here in the world.
Be Enlightened.
