To transcend means to go beyond.
When you transcend in your Meditation Practice, you go beyond the relative field;
You go beyond your mind that projects the relative field.
Then the Consciousness is of your Self That is Divine Being.
There are two realities of life:
There is this reality of the consciousness of the relative field;
This reality that is eternally ever changing;
This reality that is manifest, phenomenal, and bounded by space, time, and causation.
And there is That reality of the Absolute field;
That reality That is eternally never changing;
That reality That is unmanifest and unbounded;
That is Divine Being, your Self.
But That reality is covered or hidden by all the activity here in the relative field;
By all the activity of your mind and your physiology experiencing the relative field.
There is no experience of That reality of Divine Being unless you transcend in your Meditation Practice.
If you are fortunate enough to have a Meditation Practice with a technique that allows you to transcend the relative field,
then the experience is of your Self revealing ItSelf to ItSelf by ItSelf.
That experience of your Self, of Divine Being infuses your mind and physiology, transforming them.
In time, your mind is so familiar with the infusion of Divine Being that it becomes capable of holding two States of Consciousness simultaneously:
Consciousness of Divine Being alongside the consciousness of the relative field.
You know your Self to be separate from all the activity here in the world.
You know your Self as Divine Being, as Universal God.
This is the first stage of Enlightenment.
